Educating the Youth

 The Hanlin Education Foundation of America, located in the Silicon Valley in Northern California is a nonprofit organization that educates kids about culture.

The purpose of this organization is to connect youth from China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong with Americans around the same age through a smooth communicative and interactive platform.

This program guides participants through studying Chinese and American cultural fields to learn about these beautiful countries by attending summer/winter camps and culture/art festivals. Participants develop close friendships throughout the camp helping make the world a more harmonious place.

The Hanlin Education Foundation of America is composed of senior experts from the San Francisco Bay Area who specialize in the fields of education, culture, communication, community, and more. During each event, a professional project manager arranges the overall plan and design.

Services and Activities

This camp is a fun overseas Chinese youth camp in China with many activities. It promotes Chinese culture with the younger generation during the annual summer vacation organized by the China State Council Overseas Chinese Affairs Office and the local Chinese government to hold camps that are fun and leave campers full of knowledge about Chinese culture. This camp invites children and teens around the world with a Chinese background to find their Chinese roots, meet with others who relate to them and understand the Chinese culture.
A chance for youth from China and the USA to go on an interesting interactive tour during Winter to meet with each other and learn from each other.

In the past, the Hanlin Education Foundation of America has organized for Chinese school teachers in America to go to China to learn how to teach Chinese and how to improve their teaching techniques and how to conduct online teaching through the use of different text books. Hanlin also recommended Chinese teachers in the Silicon Valley to participate in teacher delegations run by The National Overseas Chinese Affairs Office. Hanlin has been collaborating with the Bay Area Hwashin Chinese school which has a 20-year history. The group hopes to establish an experimental base in Chinese language teaching for the National Overseas Chinese Affairs Office.

From time to time, this group holds a series of free Hanlin lectures on the below topics: Education, Culture, Health care, How to stay healthy, How to protect yourself, Staying happy, How to live the life you want, etc.
A program for Chinese youth interested in traveling to the US for short study tours and for American youth interested in going to China or Taiwan to learn about the Chinese culture. Our program provides counseling and assistance in arranging for accommodation, schools, and tourist activities. The goal is to in the shortest time cultivate the creativity of the young scholars in the 21st century technology era.
A tour for visitors to visit the San Francisco Bay Area’s attractions, where well-known technology companies such as Apple, Google, Facebook, and Yahoo are based. This tour also has arrangements for visitors to participate in technological forums with well-known scientists and technologists to help enhance the world’s global competitiveness and world outlook.

Hanlin Education Foundation of America offers Chinese language tutoring to corporate employees. Our experienced and certified teachers teach at different levels in different settings.  We offer business Chinese and conversational Chinese lessons. We also provide customized teaching to suit your specific corporate need. Our teachers can travel onsite and teach in group settings or provide one on one private lessons.
