Here’s Hanlin Education Foundation of America’s Youth Group presenting their $1,000.00 donation check to Daily Bowl in front of the Union City Police Department. Gary Singh, President of Daily Bowl, told me the $1,000 will be used to help Daily Bowl cover their operation expenses. The non-profit organization has four trucks going around the Bay Area picking up excess food from farmers, supermarkets, and restaurants. With gas prices rising and drivers needing to go over hundreds of miles, lots of the budget would be sunk into fueling the trucks. With this donation, Daily Bowl will be able to supply more families with the food they get from other generous farms and businesses.
